Transmission Capital Partners is pleased to announce that it has been selected to tender for the connections to the 254MW Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farm. The Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farm, located in the Bay of Liverpool approximately 20 kilometres off the coast of Liverpool and comprises thirty-two 8MW wind turbines. The estimated value of the transmission assets is £230m. This is the only project being tendered under the fourth round of offshore transmission owner (“OFTO”) tendering.
