Transmission Investment looks forward to bidding as part of the Transmission Capital Partners (TCP) consortium for the Tender Round Seven OFTO projects. TCP shall compete to own, manage and operate the connecting assets of the Triton Knoll and Moray East windfarms as part of the Ofgem process.
Transmission Investment Managing Director Chris Veal stated that: “This is a great opportunity for our business and the team will be working hard to produce a good result, building on the success we have seen in TR6.”
Tender Round Seven will see over £1.3billion of assets competitively tendered and will connect more than 1.7GW of generation capacity of renewable energy to the national grid.
