Ofgem selects Transmission Capital Partners to take take ownership of the connections to the Lincs offshore wind farm.
Transmission Capital Partners is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as preferred bidder to take take ownership of the connections to the 250MW Lincs offshore wind farm. This is the first project to be awarded under the second round of offshore transmission owner (“OFTO”) tendering.
This project adds to the three projects (Robin Rigg, Gunfleet and Barrow) that Transmission Capital Partners already manages, and the further project (Ormonde) for which it is already the preferred bidder. The total capital value for the five projects is in excess of £500 million.
In addition, Transmission Capital Partners is shortlisted for the two remaining projects within the current round of OFTO tendering.
