Transmission Capital Partners, the consortium comprising Transmission Investment, Amber Infrastructure and INPP, has been appointed as preferred bidder for the long-term license and operation of a further offshore transmission project (‘OFTO’).The latest scheme, comprising the transmission cable connection to Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm represents the seventh such project that Transmission Capital Partners has been appointed to, as preferred bidder.The project includes the transmission cable and offshore substation platform connection to the 402MW offshore wind farm located 32km off the coast of Cromer in North Norfolk.This project adds to the six projects (Robin Rigg, Gunfleet Sands, Barrow, Ormonde, Lincs and Westermost Rough) that Transmission Capital Partners already manages. The total capital value for the six projects is in excess of £800 million.
